I find the discussion never really gets off on a good foot though, as those putting the argument forward don't seem to have the greatest appreciation for nuance. I've only really seen the discussion here, which is fine just given thst nothing is beyond reproach. Because remember we're talking about this:Īgreed. Hyper realism is a bit of a misplaced term there. So you could definitely argue that although believable she's over the top in terms of character design, and her combat style is stylish. Note, the devs of Remember Me couldn't even have a kissing scene in their game because they felt it would be awkward for male players. But damn if she isn't a great role model, character design and really refreshing to see something this progressive. AC Syndicate is undoubtedly the most stylized AC game due to the way she's treated, the way she and Jacob fight is much more over the top than past games, and because of the inclusiveness of the characters and setting relative to how prudish London truly was at the time.

All while wearing clothing that would be WAY too expensive for anyone to wear at the time and is parkouring her way to freedom, again, in conservative prudish Victorian London, all while wearing boots, even at the age of 41 and long after that, and by that time she has had toxins that make people hallucinate tiger roars to her repertoire. Evie Frye is an assassin, in Victorian London who has a batman like grapple hook/line launcher and non-lethal electric grenades.
